On December 3, 2019 in the NISS a meeting occurred between director of the NISS Oleksandr Lytvynenko, deputy director of the NISS Oleh Sinaiko, head of Department of strategic planning issues Olha Reznikova Marcin Kozhiel, head of the Professional Development Program in Ukraine at the NATO International Secretariat, and Oleg Masyk, project manager of the NATO-Ukraine Professional Development Program.
During the meeting the parties discussed issues of cooperation between the NISS and the NATO-Ukraine Professional Development Program regarding creation in Ukraine of the expert hub as a tool for building national resilience, in order to allow spreading knowledge and best international practices in this field, as well as in order to foster elaboration and practical implementation of the scientifically-grounded recommendations. The parties also discussed the possibility of organization and hosting joint international conferences, round tables and other events.
Also director of the Institute Oleksandr Lytvynenko informed the guests on the course of preparation of the updated version of the National Security Strategy of Ukraine.
