On November 8, 2019 in the National Institute for Strategic Studies a meeting occurred between the leadership of the NISS, Defence Advisor of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine from Great Britain Lynda Smith, and Deputy Defence Advisor of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine from Great Britain Robin Seaword. During the meeting, that was introductory and consultative in nature, Director of the NISS Oleksandr Lytvynenko, Deputy Director of the NISS Gelena Savruk, Deputy Director of the NISS Oleh Sinaiko, and Expert of the NISS Valentyna Piontkovska discussed with the British delegates the issues of cooperation in the field of national defence and security.
The guests introduced the leadership of the NISS to the British training programs that foster development of coordinated system of national resilience, aimed at combating external threats.
