President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky appointed by decree №599/2019 Oleksandr Lytvynenko as the Director of the National Institute for Strategic Studies

DECREE №599/2019 OF THE PRESIDENT OF UKRAINE

On several issues of the National Institute for Strategic Studies

With an aim of improvement of analytical and predictive inquiries, exercising powers by the President of Ukraine and the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine in the field of national security, providing scientific support for solution to the foreign policy issues and issues of economic, social and socio-political development of Ukraine, as well as creation of organizational conditions for modernizing and functioning of the National Institute for Strategic Studies, I hereby decree: 

1. Oleksandr Valeriyovych LYTVYNENKO is to be appointed as the Director of the National Institute for Strategic Studies;
2. Within two months the Director of the National Institute for Strategic Studies is to make proposals regarding reform and development strategy of the Institute, providing its reorganization and staff reduction.
3. The following decree comes into force from the day of its official publication.
